Cain was already getting ready for his sacrifice to the LORD, while Abel was choosing which of the lambs will appease Elohim. Cain was a farmer while Abel was a sheperd and when Abel was younger, Cain taught him how to fetch sheep. He loved his brother on the day their mother Eve gave birth to him. He remembered Abel always following his 'big brother' and how he looked up to him. Earlier, God told both Cain and Abel to present an offering to him. Cain decided to harvest some of his crops, but he decided to save the best for himself. Abel decided to offer Elohim some of his sheep. Both of them got their altars ready when God himself appeared. He examined each of the sacrifices, and saw that Cain offered him the mediocre parts of his crops. Then he went up to Abel's and saw how dedicated he was to Elohim, and he accepted Abel's offering over Cain's. Cain began to grow jealous of his younger brother, believing that Elohim loved him more. Elohim then said to Cain, "Why are you hot with anger and why has your countenance fallen? If you turn to doing good, will there be an exaltation? But if you do not turn to doing good, there is sin crouching at the entrance, and for you it's craving, and will you, for your part, get the mastery of it?"
But Cain ignored Elohim's advice and then said to Abel, "Let's go to the field, brother." They then went out to the field, and Cain grabbed a large rock and bashed it against Abel's Skull. Later on that day, Elohim came to praise Abel, but he only found Cain and asked. "Cain, where is thy brother?" Cain responded, "What am I, my brother's keeper?" Elohim then replied. "What have you done? Your brother's blood cries out from the ground and now you are cursed in banishment from the ground which has opened it's mouth to recieve your brother's blood at your hand. When you cultivate the ground, it will not give you back its power. A wanderer and a fugitive you will become on the Earth."
Cain said to Elohim. "My punishment is too great to carry. You are driving me this day from off the surface of the ground, and from your face I shall be concealed; and I must be a wanderer and fugitive on the earth. Certainly, someone will attack me."
Elohim then said. "Anyone who strikes Cain will suffer seven times sevenfold." Cain then left and went into the land of Nod, east of Eden. Over the years, his curse had gotten much worse. Cain begin to become thin and his limbs became like branches. His face began to disappear, and the very evil that was in his heart began to grow out of him as extra limbs. He would have the need to feed, which would be the life force, and ironically be repeating his first crime over the millennia
