The character after I pulled him up in the character editor mod

Hello, my name is Travis, and I am an Elder Scrolls fan. Don't get me wrong, I love other games and first person shooters, but nothing gives me a thrill quite like the Elder Scrolls games.

About 5 years ago, I was playing on the computer at my grandparent's house, when I came across a game on a white disk, with the word "Morrowind" on it. When I found this game I first thought "What the heck is a Morrowind!?" But after awhile of playing, I loved the game! I loved the freedom I had playing the game, and I loved the feeling I had when I killed a monster on there.

Strange happenings[]

About 3 years ago, I was playing Morrowind, I blacked out, and I woke up later in the computer seat. I didn't know what happened, but when I looked at the computer, it was sitting on the desktop. I soon noticed something odd. The shortcut for Morrowind was missing from the computer, along with all history of it being on there! I opened the disk tray, and the disk was gone, and after a few hours of searching, I gave up, and asked my grandma if she had seen it. She had not even known she HAD the Morrowind game in the first place. This confused me, because I thought from the beginning that she had bought the game. Later on, I asked my grandpa, and he said the same thing my grandma did. How did they have it if neither of them had bought it? I decided to just give up on Morrowind, and I soon forgot about the game. The next year, I had gotten The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and I really enjoyed it.

They Don't Like it.[]

I loved how Oblivion had real voice actors, and I loved the updated graphics. I thought the game couldn't get any better, but that is when I discovered that there are many glitches in games, and some are useful. I was browsing YouTube one day, and I finally found the coin glitch. I knew that everyone had already done this glitch on the game, so I though "How bad could it be?" I tried the glitch the next day and soon I had over 100,000 gold. I was living the good life with my new house on there and my new armor, but after awhile, strange things started happening. While I was playing one day, I decided to go and get the Ebony Armor. I knew it would be a challenge, but I didn't care, all I wanted was the armor. When I was walking to the ruin it was in, I met someone on the road, and I decided to talk to him. I noticed something odd from the start when the dialogue started, but there was no audio, and his mouth did not move. He also had a very familiar face. The only thing he said to me was "Stop cheating." and then I couldn't talk to him anymore, it would just say he was fleeing, even though he was walking. I decided to just to forget it and proceed to the ruins where the person with the Ebony Amor was. I knew I wouldn't be able to fight the enemy with my current stats, so I decided to tweak my character's stats a little. When I was just about there, my character suddenly stopped, and the wait screen popped up, and it said waiting 8 hours. I thought I had pressed the wrong buttons, but after the wait was over, the character I met on the road was in front of me, and he automatically said "I warned you." with the blank expression from earlier, and then my game froze.

Look To Your Left.[]

When I tried to get back on, it would show the start up, then it just froze again. I didn't know what was going on, until one day, I tried to play the game and it finally loaded with my favorite opening, OBLIVION. I was very happy, that is, until I loaded my game. The picture for the saved game was very odd. It was a picture of the character that was talking to me before the game crashed. When the game loaded up, I was standing in a dark room, and suddenly the character appeared in front of me and said in a blank expression "Look to your left." So, I looked to my left on the game, there was nothing there, and I was confused, but then something caught my eye. It wasn't in the game. When I looked to my left, I saw the white Morrowind disk inside of an old case that resembled the type of case you would find a PlayStation game in. I stared at the game in shock, and, without any reason, my computer shut off. Something was urging me to look back at the computer. By now, I wish that I didn't. When I looked at the computer, there was a note on the screen saying "Play the game." Suddenly, I remembered who that character was that I kept seeing. It was my character from Morrowind!

The Glitches[]

I reached for the game, and then I put it in the disk tray, and turned on the computer. The computer did not start normally, instead, it skipped straight to Morrowind's start screen. I pressed continue, and then I saw my character. This was impossible, because all data of Morrowind was erased from the computer. This is when things started to get even creepier. It placed me in a strange little house, and for a second, it was peaceful, but then there was a large thud in the computer room, as if someone had slammed their hand against the wall. Then, when I looked around the room, I saw the markings on the wall. After looking more closely, I could make out the letters P, L, Y, T, H, G, M, and E, which translated to PLAY THE GAME, and that's when I started to leave the house on there. When I was outside, everything looked odd, textures were missing, or mixed up with other textures, the monsters looked very strange and colorless, and then there was the town of Balmora. The town was deserted and, even creepier, all I could here was the faint sound of screaming. Soon, I started to notice the place was changing, or as I can best describe it, rotting. Soon, I started to see text pop up, and it said "Why did you forget about us?" I decided to close the text, but then another text box popped up. "Travis, please answer us." At this point, I was ready to run out of the computer room, but then I saw the options of what I could say, and it was a one of the types of boxes you can type in. I typed in, trying not to freak out, "What do you want me to answer?" And as soon as I answered it said "Why did you forget us?" I quickly typed "Because I thought the game was lost." It soon said "Please don't stop playing." And afterword, the text box closed on its own, and the game restarted and played normally. I did the first quest, and then I turned the game off, thinking that was enough. Then, without warning, the game started again and I was in Balmora again, only there were the dead bodies of everyone in the town, and then another text box popped up. It said "Save." That's when the box closed and the save screen popped up. I pressed save, then my computer started to flip out, and then it shut down, and I haven't been able to start it back up ever since. I will post more when I have more evidence.
